Students elect new class officers

Students of Jones College have elected a new Freshman and Sophomore Class President along with a Senator at Large. Voting began Sept. 26 for the 2018 fall semester. Student Affairs emailed all students with a link to choose the best candidate. The results were announced Sept. 27, 2018.

Otoniel Duran was elected to be the Freshman Class President and Anna Catherine Hampton won the role of Sophomore Class President.  Duran and Hampton now represent their classes and will hear the concerns of the student body and voice those concerns back to administration. Duran will help arrange different freshman activities such as designing the homecoming float.

Dylan Meeks was selected to serve as Senator at Large. Meeks will be the face of the student body and help present any issues reported by fellow classmates.
