The Bobcats posted a strong 13-6-1 final record in the regular season and finished second in the MACJC South division with a 6-2 record. The Bobcats won the MACJC title game versus Mississippi Gulf Coast CC in a close match in favor of Jones 4-3. They ultimately came up short in the south district playoffs falling to #6 Tyler Junior College (Eunice, La.) 0-3 in the postseason. Even after ending the season in a disappointing way the Bobcats still managed to end ranked #20 in United Soccer Coaches Poll. After the season the Bobcats had two players named to all NJCAA All-Region 23 for the 2019 season.

The Lady Bobcats finished with an impressive 12-7 regular season record and 7-1 in the MACJC south division which was enough to win the MACJC south title. The Lady Bobcats were able to clinch a spot in the playoffs and won in the quarterfinals versus East Central CC 2-1. In the MACJC semifinals they lost to the eventual state champions in Holmes CC by a score of 7-1. Although the Lady Bobcats ended the season in disappointment, there are many accomplishments that were made during the 2019 season. Esmeralda Figueroa finished fourth in the MACJC in scoring with 17 goals, five assists and 39 points. Figueroa was named to NJCAA All-Region 23 along with teammate Lucy Critchell. The women’s soccer team sent nine players to four-year programs, the highlights of which were defender Caitlyn Dungee who signed with Alcorn State and forward Esmeralda Figueroa who signed with Mississippi State.
